This two-story frame dwelling house was built in 1898 by Louisa Meals. It is incorrectly marked with a Civil War Building plaque.

Note: This property originally fronted 23.66 feet on North Washington Street and ran back 138 feet to the alley. The property was divided between 1959 and 1961 and the modern brick house at 63 West Water Street became a separate property. It may have been built around this time.
