Brief History
This two-story brick house was built by Edward Breidenbaugh in 1871. An article in the Star & Sentinel of March 10, 1871 noted that "Rev. E. Breidenbaugh has contracted with Messrs. W. C. Stallsmith & Son, for the erection of a new dwelling on the lot on Carlisle street, north of the Ehrehart property. The foundation was staked off last week, and the work will commence at once. The main building will be two-story brick, 42 feet front by 32 deep, with requisite backbuilding."
